Sky Chai

Mae was an engineer, doctor and NASA astronaut. Her journey to the sky was inspired by the adventures she saw on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Before she was placed in a shuttle, Mae was a doctor who had posts around the world through her work with the PeaceCorps. After her work in the PeaceCorps, Jemison started her own private practice until she was inspired by Sally Ride, the first African American woman to become an astronaut. Mae applied to NASA and served six years as an astronaut.

This cocktail should warm your ambitions!

Ingredients

• Chai tea simple syrup ( a teabag, 2 tablespoons of honey, a splash of vanilla extract)

• 1/2 oz of vodka

• 1/2 oz of Kahului

• 1 oz cream

• Cinnamon stick

• 1 star Anise

Instructions

1. Make simple syrup. Add chai teabag, add honey, and splash of vanilla, pour hot water and let steep in hot water

2. Stir the syrup

3. Fill half the glass with the chai tea simple syrup

4. Add in vodka & Kahlua

5. Add in cream

6. Stir your cocktail

7. Garnish with cinnamon stick and star Anise
