Don’t be fooled by the name of this tea-tail, we actually want you to embrace Bourbon and the be inspired by the revolutionary tale of Angela Davis. An activist, a philosopher, an educator, Angela Davis is most famously known for her involvement in the Black Panther Party as well as the Communist Party. Fighting for the liberation of the oppressed, Davis used her voice to advocate for African Americans, transgenders, and the LGBTQ+ community. Being subjected to the FBI’s counter intelligence, Davis spent time in prison which sparked the “Free Angela Campaign” and once she was released from prison, Angela started educating at colleges and universities. Today, Davis passes on her pearls of wisdom to the next generation of political activists.

Ingredients
Swoon Peach Ice Tea
1 Lemon
1 Peach
2 T Sugar
2 T Water
1 oz of your favorite bourbon
Instructions
Add lemon slices and Ice to your favorite glass
Muddle Peaches and place a spoonful of peaches over the ice
In a separate cup, add 2 tablespoons of sugar and the rest of the muddle peaches, then pour hot water to make a peach simple syrup
Stir & strain your simple syrup to avoid extra texture
Pour peach simple syrup over the ice
Pour in your favorite bourbon
Top off with Swoon Peach Ice Tea
